Introducing real life beauty queen Melissa Lewars, the 21-year-old journalism student won the title of Miss Flavour 2009 at a star-studded ceremony held at Cafe de Paris on Wednesday 11th November.
Melissa beat 20 other contestants to win the title, with children's worker Angelique Davis walking away with 1st runner up and musical theatre student and salsa dancing champion Xenia Bragaginni winning 2nd runner up.
Hosted by MTV's Kojo the Comedian and Britain's Next Top Model contestant Annaliese Dayes, members of the UK entertainment elite, models and celebrities like Tim Westwood, Eddie Kadi and Sway filled the venue to capacity to watch one of the most anticipated events of the year.
With performances by KHY. Cherri V, Coldsteps & Zest and Egypt, while DJ Longers, DJ Chef and Fab Vibez set the groove. This was a night not to be missed and left people eager for their 2010 event.
